I Love DA: Deviant ID 2014

Hard to believe another year has come and gone, eh?  Well, in keeping with my tradition these past few years, I am giving myself a facelift with a new ID picture, a new avatar, and a new signature.  Be sure to check them all out!

With regards to this new ID picture, I made it pretty much by accident.  It was about three weeks ago when I knew I'd have to come up with a new photo of myself to post for the 2014 year.  I was sitting outside at a picnic table, playing around with the front-facing camera on my phone, and took a single photo that was rather unremarkable.  I didn't think it was all that flattering of me, to be honest, but after messing around with effects in Photoshop, I ended up with this and I liked it.  It just so happened that I was wearing my DeviantART T-shirt that day (the one I'd gotten for submitting an entry in the "Above the Influence" contest back in 2010), and that's what prompted the title of this year's Deviant ID.
