I wanted to try my hand (no pun intended, given the work) at freehand drawing, something I haven't done in a while. I'm a big fan of political/editorial cartoons, so I wanted to try drawing one myself.
Although, of course, you're free to interpret this picture any way you like, here's what I think the picture says: Causing an upset to the worldwide price of oil (as indicated by the oil barrel domino in front) will cause an upset in food prices (indicated by the ear of corn), which in turn affects the market value of currencies like the U.S dollar, the E.U. euro, and the Japanese yen, with the list of dominos continuing beyond the picture.
It took about a half hour to draw and fifteen minutes to color in Photoshop.

I like this alot! It gives some food for thought, that no matter how big and bad we as humans might think the things we create are, they can come tumbling down at any minute.
This rings true more than ever today. In all different ways, economies and ways of life tumble downwards taking other important things with it. Fragile, like knocking over the dominos.
